Security Council Resolution 1888 (2009) strengthens the international response to conflict-related sexual violence by reinforcing coordination through UN Action Against Sexual Violence in Conflict (¶4), enhancing cooperation and information-sharing across the UN system (¶5), supporting joint UN-government strategies to address CRSV (¶23), and promoting improved reporting and monitoring with UN Action’s support (¶24).
