UN Action Annual Progress Report 2024

UN Action Governance Documents

The UN Action Against Sexual Violence in Conflict (UN Action) Annual Progress Report 2024 highlights the Network’s continued impact in an increasingly complex global environment marked by escalating conflict, mass displacement, shrinking humanitarian access, and growing risks of conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV).

Notably, the Report underscores tangible results achieved in Ukraine, Sudan, South Sudan, and Mali, where survivors accessed essential services including psychosocial support, medical care, legal assistance, and livelihood opportunities. A defining feature of this year’s work was the strong emphasis on survivor leadership, localization, and national ownership, ensuring that responses were shaped by survivors’ experiences and implemented through sustainable local partnerships. The Report also highlights advances in knowledge-building, prevention, and advocacy, including the first roll-out of the Framework for the Prevention of CRSV.
