UN Action Annual Progress Report 2025

The UN Action Against Sexual Violence in Conflict Annual Report 2025 showcases the Network’s continued impact in an increasingly challenging global context marked by escalating violence, shrinking humanitarian space, and declining resources. Throughout the year, UN Action leveraged its unique role as a system-wide coordination platform, bringing together 27 UN entities to deliver integrated, survivor-centred responses across humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding efforts.

Notably, the Report underscores tangible results achieved in complex settings such as Sudan and Ukraine, where thousands of survivors gained access to critical services including psychosocial support, rehabilitation, and livelihood opportunities. A defining feature of this year’s work was the strong emphasis on survivor leadership and localization, ensuring that programmes are shaped by those directly affected and grounded in sustainable national capacities. The Report also highlights advances in knowledge-building and advocacy, reinforcing UN Action’s commitment to strengthening coherent, effective responses to conflict-related sexual violence worldwide.
