Developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) through a UN Action Against Sexual Violence in Conflict project (UNA028), this practical toolkit is designed to strengthen the capacity of health, forensic, legal, investigative and social service professionals to respond to conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV).
This knowledge product provides practical tools, checklists and guidance for professionals and covers survivor-centred approaches, ethics, case documentation, forensic medical examinations, evidence collection, child-sensitive practices, victim protection, investigations and multi-sector coordination, helping strengthen access to justice while prioritizing the health, safety and well-being of survivors in humanitarian and low-resource settings.
