The purpose of this note is to provide information on key operational elements of the resolutions, namely: setting up MARA; reporting on parties credibly suspected of committing or being responsible for acts of rape and other forms of sexual violence for the purposes of listing these parties in annexes to the SG’s annual reports; and securing commitments by parties to armed conflict to cease and prevent sexual violence.
